Designed for high performance and long life.
Indoors or outdoors, Data Aire enables you to match the optimum solution to your needs with a versatile family of heat exchanger products. Data Aire’s fluid coolers employ aluminum fins to maximize heat transfer. Low-decibel versions are also available for applications in noise-sensitive areas.
What is a Fluid Cooler?
Fluid coolers are air or water heat exchangers, which cool water with ambient air – reducing water consumption by data centers and other mission critical applications. They are used to reject heat from condenser loops, much like a cooling towers, but they consume a measurable decrease in water usage.
Types of Fluid Coolers
Evaporative coolers: These coolers use water to dissipate the heat. Water is re-circulated in the unit, moving across the coil with coolant. A fan forces fresh air up through the coil. The process transfers heat from the coolant to the circulating water where it is rejected into the space through evaporation.
Dry Air Coolers: dry air coolers have finned coils. Fans are mounted above the coil and draw air across the coils to remove heat from the space.
